In a remarkable display of corporate social responsibility, MOK FoundaĆ¾ion has illuminated the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Offa divisional office with solar-powered lighting.
The initiative, aimed at enhancing the security and productivity of the office, was made possible through the foundation’s commitment to sustainable development and community engagement.
Before now, the NSCDC earlier wrote to the Foundation’s office to make a request for the solar light, in the letter, the Comptroller of Offa Divison said ” we are a body whose primary objectives is to protect lives and properties, its a sad occurrence that our office remains dark at night, on this note, I am writing to solicite for solar light donation to our office”.
The solar lighting system, designed and installed by MOK Foundation, provides a reliable and eco-friendly source of energy, reducing the office’s dependence on grid power and minimizing its carbon footprint.
This project demonstrates the foundation’s dedication to supporting the well-being and effectiveness of our security agencies, while also promoting environmental sustainability, said Mr Tewogbola a representative of the foundation.
The NSCDC divisional officer Mrs Adeyemi Samuel Adenike expressed gratitude for the initiative, acknowledging the positive impact it will have on their operations and the community they serve.
This collaboration serves as a shining example of how partnerships between organizations can drive positive change and improve the lives of those around us.
