In continuation of its weekly empowerment initiative, the Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode (MOK) Movement, on Saturday, empowered 20 petty traders across Offa Local Government Area with financial support of ₦30,000 each.
The empowerment, part of the Movement’s broader commitment to uplifting the aged, vulnerable, and small-scale entrepreneurs, was held under the supervision of Alhaja Khadijat Osinowo, the Women Leader of the Movement for Ojomu North North-West Ward. She served as the moderator for the day's event.
Beneficiaries, drawn from various wards within the local government, expressed gratitude to the MOK Movement for the timely financial support, which they described as a boost to their small businesses amidst the current economic challenges.
Speaking at the event, Alhaja Osinowo commended the leadership of the MOK Movement for its unwavering dedication to community development and grassroots empowerment.
She urged the beneficiaries to judiciously utilize the funds to grow their businesses and improve their livelihoods.
The MOK Movement’s Weekly Empowerment Programme has consistently impacted lives by providing food items, agricultural produce, and financial grants to residents, further cementing its reputation as a beacon of hope in the community.
