MOK Foundation Set to Begin First Phase of Maize Distribution to Combat Food Scarcity an Help Vulnerable
The Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode (MOK) Foundation is set to begin the first phase of maize distribution from its expansive 50-hectare farm, marking a significant step towards alleviating food scarcity and advancing sustainable agricultural development in Offa Local Government Area (LGA).
This highly anticipated event will take place on September 20, 2024, at 10:00 AM, at the MOK Foundation Office, located at NO. 157, Ibrahim Taiwo Road, opposite the IBEDC office in Offa.
The initiative, which is the first of many planned, seeks to support local households across both Offa and Oyun LGAs by distributing farm produce to registered members.
The Foundation is urging all eligible recipients to visit the designated location to collect their allocated maize supplies, with additional batches scheduled to follow in the coming weeks.
MOK Foundation’s maize distribution program is part of its broader mission to foster a food-secure and economically empowered community.
By promoting agricultural sustainability, the Foundation aims to enhance local food production, ensuring that families have access to essential food resources.
“We are committed to creating a stronger, food-secure community through our ongoing agricultural initiatives. This is just the beginning. More efforts are underway to continue supporting our people,” Director of the Foundation remarked.
