Will Chelsea's 100% Away Record Survive, or Will Liverpool Triumph at Anfield?

Will Chelsea's 100% Away Record Survive, or Will Liverpool Triumph at Anfield?

Liverpool will be hosting Chelsea at Anfield on 20th of October, 2024, which will be the English Premier League Round 8 fixture. It is going to be a big match between the two big rivals, and it is the opportunity for both teams to show who is better between them.

It is the first match for both teams after the international break, and both teams will be careful of not doing well in the match. Even though it was after the last international match that Liverpool lost at home to Nottingham Forest which was a sad outing at Anfield back then, but notwithstanding Liverpool have bounced back and they now sit at the top of the English Premier League table.

Liverpool under their Manager, Arne Slot, have been on a good form lately in which they have won four out of their last five (5) Premier League matches, their only defeat was with Nottingham Forest in some time back, but apart from that, they have won all the matches they have played in both home and away fixtures.

Chelsea too under their Manager, Enzo Maresca, have been flying well too without any defeat in their last five (5) Premier League matches, they only had 2 draws at home which were with Nottingham Forest that beat Liverpool at Anfield, and also Crystal Palace. But, their away matches have been outstanding, in which they still keep their 100% wins in all their away matches this season.

The match will definitely be an interesting one to watch on Sunday, because both teams would want to be of their best performances, and luckily for them none of them is struggling at the moment.

Players to watch for this match:

Mo Salah is the player to watch for Liverpool, because he has been in a good form of recent, and he has scored the total of four (4) goals for both Liverpool and Egypt in his last five appearances, I think he can spring up surprises against his former club Chelsea on Sunday.

Cole Palmer is the player to watch against Liverpool, he is a brilliant player and has been outstanding for Chelsea in recent matches, Palmer has the total goals of five (5) for Chelsea in his last 5 outings, there is a possibility that he can as well punish Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.
